Veteran technology executive brings more than 25 years of enterprise IT leadership to new role at VLCM
SALT LAKE CITY, UT — VLCM has announced that Jerry Vigil has joined the company as Vice President of Technology, filling a role the company had been actively recruiting for over the past several months.
Jerry is a results-driven technology executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across energy, biotechnology, medical devices, manufacturing, and global conglomerates. More than two decades of his career were spent leading IT for public companies, including a NYSE-listed organization with more than $5 billion in revenue and a market cap that peaked at $6.4 billion. In that role, he served as a strategic partner to the C-suite and board, aligning technology investment with business objectives, financial performance, and customer outcomes.
His background spans digital transformation, M&A integration, enterprise architecture, infrastructure modernization, and data-driven decision-making, with a consistent track record of building high-performing, customer-centric teams and translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategy.
At VLCM, Jerry will focus on three priorities:
- Serving as an executive sponsor for strategic customers and high-impact opportunities
- Positioning VLCM at the forefront of emerging technology trends and enterprise IT innovation
- Partnering with Neal Baker to accelerate growth in VLCM’s professional services business
Jerry earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Technology Management and Computer Science from Regis University, graduating with honors.
Outside the office, Jerry and his wife, Heidi, are relocating from Colorado and settling into their new home in Draper, Utah. When they’re not unpacking boxes, you’ll typically find them on a golf course, traveling, or spending time with family.
“Please join us in giving Jerry a warm VLCM welcome — we’re excited about what he’ll bring to the team,” said Brandon Madsen, President of VLCM.
